The poet Ed Roberson once told her, “You only have one life and you only have one work.” She's taken this advice perhaps too literally. She is the author of the novella, The Family That Carried Their House on Their Backs, and the queer romance, When Darcy Met Lizzy.

She is currently looking for a home for her memoir, Oracles, which was a finalist for the 2025 Dzanc Nonfiction Prize and the 2025 C&R Press Nonfiction Prize.
